Done...Done...and Done!!

       I have FINALLY completed all my treatments.  Radiation is complete and I am on the mend (not a pleasant experience considering it burnt me terribly under my arm).  Chemo...done.  Surgery...done.  Radiation...done!! WHOO HOO! I made it through and I have to say I am pretty unscathed all things considering.  My hair is definitely taking on a new intentional-looking "style".  I am getting my energy back.  I am finally feeling like "Danielle" again.  What a great feeling!!  This is going to be an awesome Christmas.  I am ready for a new year and a fresh start...not to mention I get my new boobies in 2012!!!!

Thank you everyone for continuing to follow my journey...your love...support...thoughts and prayers.  I did not realize how lucky I was to have so many wonderful people in my life!! Please continue to pray this horrible experience remains a part of my past and not my future :)

Crispy

I had to got to radiation every day M-F for five weeks.  I was told radiation would be a breeze.  They were right...until it was over and the treatment continued to work for 10 additional days and burnt me pretty badly.  Here are some pictures...These are all views of my underarm and side where they removed my lymph nodes (you can see my scar).  It blistered, peeled, and wept for days...OUCH!

BUT...I am all better now...just a little tanner :)
