WINNING!!

The radiologist said my chest ct looked good.  The nodules have not grown in almost 10 months, which is a very good indication that they are benign.  They will continue to check them for another year or so just to be safe.  Next scan is in June.  The doctor used the words "cancer free" today...I made him repeat himself!!!

So happy...so relieved...and so very thankful!!!

I lied...

My appointment to get my test results is actually Wednesday...not Tuesday.  Very disappointed/anxious knowing that I have 2 wait 2 MORE DAYS.  I almost called my doctor to get the results over the phone, but I chickened out.  I guess no news is good news??  I think will go with that!

CT Scan

I have a CT scan tomorrow to check the lung nodules they discovered back in May of last year.  You may recall they located 3-4 nodules that were approximately 2 mm each.  That is too small to biopsy or to surgically remove.  Fortunately they did not respond to chemo nor did they grow as of my last scan in the fall.  This leads the radiologist to believe they are benign.  They are continuing to keep a close watch just to be safe.  I have been having some anxiety lately knowing they are "looking" for more cancer...worried they just might find some :(

I see the doctor Tuesday to get the results.  Prayers....
